Love Where You Live!

The Carnation Chamber

At the Carnation Chamber of Commerce, we believe strong communities are built through connection, collaboration, and local pride. Rooted in the heart of the Snoqualmie Valley, we support the businesses, organizations, and people that help Carnation thrive while celebrating the small-town character that makes this place so special. Through community events, local partnerships, business advocacy, and tourism initiatives, we work to create a vibrant and welcoming Valley where businesses can grow, visitors feel at home, and neighbors continue to build something meaningful together.

Our Mission

The Carnation Chamber of Commerce is here to promote community engagement in support of our business environment through events designed to bring individuals and businesses together to promote our local economy.

Carnation’s History

Nestled at the meeting point of the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers, Carnation is a rural community rich in natural beauty, agricultural heritage, and small-town charm. Surrounded by the Cascade foothills and located just a short drive from Seattle, Carnation offers a unique blend of open farmland, outdoor adventure, and close-knit community spirit.

Originally known as Tolt, the town grew within one of the most fertile agricultural regions in the Pacific Northwest. In 1910, the world-famous Carnation Milk Company established a dairy at nearby Carnation Farms, helping shape the identity and history of the community we know today. Generations later, that legacy of farming, connection to the land, and community pride continues to define Carnation and the greater Snoqualmie Valley.

Rooted in the values of collaboration, small-town pride, and thoughtful growth, our board works to ensure the Chamber remains a welcoming and active voice for the businesses and people that make this Valley so special.
